ISLAMABAD: Industrial Area Cops arrested a wine dealer and recovered 115 wine bottles and 150 liters alcohol from him, here this weekend.
DIG Operations Waqar-ud-Din Syed assigned the special task to SP Industrial Area Zubair Ahmed Sheikh, to ensure arrest of those involved in bootlegging activities. Thus, following these directives, he constituted a special team under the supervision of ASP Zohaib Ranjha including SHO Industrial Area Mian Khurram Shehzad and others.
The given team booked a wine seller Arslan Salamat and recovered 115 bottles of wine and 150 litres of alcohol from him. A car was also impounded in the process. A case has been registered against the accused at PS Industrial Area and further investigation is underway from him.
DIG Operations Waqar-ud-Din Syed has appreciated the performance and directed all police officials to remain vigilant in their respective areas and to ensure the arrest of those involved in ugly business of drug pushing.
