Warrants issued for Rabi Pirzada's arrest

LAHORE: A local court issued on Friday bailable warrants for the arrest of singer Rabi Pirzada, who is being investigated for taking pictures and videos with life threatening reptiles whom she kept at her salon.
According to detail, the warrants were issued when Pirzada failed to appear before the court.
The Punjab wildlife protection and parks (WPP) department presented the challan against her in the court.
On September 2, the starlet posted a video on her YouTube channel in which she can be seen holding a snake with more snakes and a crocodile in the frame.
Pirzada, in the video shot with the life threatening reptiles, announced, “All these are gifts for the Indian prime minister (PM) Narendra Modi” threatening “My friends will feast on you.”
If convicted, the singer can be imprisoned for up to five years and will have to pay a fine.
Pirzada claims that the reptiles did not belong to her and that she had rented them out for the video.
The next hearing will be held on October 11. The judge said that the singer must be presented at the hearing. – Agencies
