Two drug peddlers held, cache’ of drugs recovered

ISLAMABAD: PS team arrested two notorious drug dealers involved in a series of drug peddling cases and recovered 7007 gram of heroin worth millions of rupees from their possession.


Following the special directions of Inspector General of Police Islamabad Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan, the Islamabad capital police had started a massive crackdown against drug suppliers to save the precious lives and future of the young generation.
Following these directives, the Incharge of police station Tarnol Shabbir Ahmad Tanoli and his team used technical and human resources, raided Doray village and arrested two drug suppliers red handed. Police team also recovered 7007 gram of heroin worth millions of rupees from their possession. The accused were identified as Ghazanfar Khan and Shah Zaib who were involved in a series of drug supplying cases in Taxila, Industrial and Tarnol areas. Cases have been registered and further investigation is underway. Police team is also raiding different hideouts of the drug peddlers.
