Seven caught, drugs & arms recovered

ISLAMABAD: Islamabad Capital Police apprehended seven outlaws from different areas of the city and recovered drugs and weapons with ammunition from their possession.
Following the special directions of IGP Islamabad Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan, the Islamabad capital police has intensified crackdown against the criminal elements in order to eliminate the crime from the city.

Following these directives, the Bani Gala police team arrested an accused namely Haseeb Sultan involved in possessing illegal weapon and recovered one 30 bore pistol with ammunition from his possession. The Sumbal police team arrested two accused namely Gafran and Hamid Ullah involved in possessing illegal weapons and recovered two 30 bore pistols with ammunition from their possession.
Similarly, the Shahzad town police team arrested an accused namely Muhib Ur Rehman involved in possessing illegal weapon and recovered one 30 bore pistol with ammunition from his possession. Lohi Bher police team arrested an accused namely Muhammad Faraz involved in drug paddling and recovered 258 grams of heroin from his possession.
During the ongoing crackdown against absconders, the Islamabad capital police teams arrested two absconders from various areas of the city. Cases have been registered against the nabbed accused and further investigation is underway.
