BEIJING: Naturalized Chinese player Ricardo Goulart has completed his loan move from Chinese Super League (CSL) side Guangzhou Evergrande to Hebei China Fortune, the Hebei team confirmed on Sunday.
The 29-year-old midfielder, who moved from Cruzeiro to Evergrande in 2015, played a crucial role in the team’s 2015, 2016, 2017 CSL and 2015 AFC Champions League title victories.
Goulart was briefly loaned to Palmeiras in 2019 and returned to Evergrande in May of the same year.
Hebei also confirmed that Buya Turay, the Sierra Leonean striker from the Belgian Pro League club Sint-Truiden, has completed a transfer to the team.
According to Hebei, Turay is a speedy striker with quick reactions and the ability to make attacking runs to beat the defensive line.
Domestic player Ding Haifeng, Chi Wenyi and Chen Xiao are also set to join Hebei.
