ISLAMABAD: Pakistani TV host, who was known for his work on Quiz Show, Neelam Ghar, passed away on Wednesday
According to details, Tariq Aziz was admitted in a private hospital last night after his condition deteriorated. The news of his demise is confirmed by his son. He is known for his work on the PTV’s Quiz Show Neelam Ghar, first aired in 1974, later renamed the Tariq Aziz Show and later known as Bazm-e-Tariq Aziz.
He also had been member of the National Assembly of Pakistan between 1997 and 1999. President Dr Arif Alvi and Prime Minister Imran Khan have expressed profound grief over the demise of legendary television and radio compere Tariq Aziz.
In their separate condolence messages on Wednesday, the President and the Prime Minister paid rich tributes to Tariq Aziz for his immense contribution for the field of television.
