Qalandars fined for slow over-rate against United

Lahore: Lahore Qalandars have been fined for maintaining a slow over-rate against Islamabad United during the seventh match of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) season five on Sunday at the Gaddafi Stadium.
Qalandars playing XI, who lost to United by one-wicket was fined as per Article 2.22 of the Pakistan Super League Code of Conduct for Players and Player Support Personnel
Qalandars were two overs short of their target in the required time. If they are found guilty of another slow over-rate during the competition, it will be charged as their second offense and each member of their playing squad will be fined 20 percent of their match fees.
Both on-field umpires, Ranmore Martinesz and Rashid Riaz along with Shozab Raza, the third-umpire Nasir Hussain (fourth umpire), while match referee Mohammad Anees leveled the fine based on the applicable sanctions for Minimum Over Rate offenses.
It must be noted that Qalandars have lost both their matches of PSL 5 and are on the last of the table.
