PTI terms Sindh budget as ‘pro-Omni’

KARACHI: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) Sindh has rejected the provincial budget for the fiscal year 2020-21, terming it ‘pro- Omni’. Talking to journalist, PTI’s PMA Jamal Siddique said that the budget can only benefit to Omni group, adding that Karachi was totally ignored in the budget. He maintained that the provincial governed has allocated no budget for transport and potable water in the metropolis. The PTI legislator criticized Sindh government for not allocating funds for agricultural reforms. He said that PPP has snatched the bread from labourers.
Meanwhile, Senator Mustafa Nawaz Khokhar, the spokesman to the Chairman Pakistan Peoples Party, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has demanded constitution of a Joint Investigation Team (JIT) on the document presented to the 10-member bench of the Supreme Court by the Judge of Supreme Court Qazi Faez Isa.Addressing a press conference at the PPP media office Islamabad with Nazir Dhoki, Senator Khokhar said that a similar kind of JIT was formed in the cases of Nawaz Sharif, President Zardari and Bilawal Bhutto Zardari. He said that PPP will also approach Election Commission of Pakistan in this regard despite the fact that ECP has not yet decided foreign funding case against Imran Khan.
