Staff Report
RAWALPINDI: Pakistan Peoples’ Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on Monday said that Prime Minister Imran Khan will be sent packing till the end of this year.
Talking to media in Rawalpindi on Monday, he said that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government is not letting the parliament work and not giving the House respect.
The PPP chairman said that his party would also take action like Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman if political rivals are locked in jails.
Speaking about Maulana Fazlur Rehman’s Azadi March, Bilawal said that party’s consultative meeting has been summoned to discuss the matter in detail.
“We want democracy in the country,” Bilawal said and added they were moving forward raising the flag of democracy.
Regarding former president and party co-chairman, he said that Asif Ali Zardari is sick but his motivations are high, adding that he neither ran in the past nor he would now.
“The former president is not being provided medical facilities in jail,” he added.
Meanwhile. Bilawal hoped that Zainab Alert Bill will soon be tabled in the National Assembly (NA).
Talking to media after chairing a meeting of the NA Standing Committee on Human Rights in Islamabad, he

said we need to take concrete steps to stop child abuse cases. “Only bills will not be enough for this cause.”
On rights violations in occupied Kashmir, the committee said the government has raised the issue in an effective manner across the globe. Add on the humanitarian ground is allowed in Yemen, Syria, and Iraq, but being denied in occupied Kashmir, he addded.
Mr. Bilawal expressed dissatisfaction over the briefing of the committee related to the Media’s right of expression. Last week, Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari had said that they will not take any step which would dent the democracy in the country. The PPP chairman, while talking to media outside the accountability court, had claimed that his political party will stand alongside with the JUI-F supremo Maulana Fazlur Rehman on every level except Islamabad march scheduled on October 27.
