ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan Sunday appreciated the provincial government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for its proactive performance to achieve his government’s 10 Billion Tree Tsunami target.
On his Twitter handle, the prime minister also shared an image of an earlier barren looking Jadkar Banda Badland site in Abbotabad area which had now turned lush green after massive tree plantation there.
“Efforts in Abbotabad to make Pakistan Green. Jadkar Banda Badland site. Congratulations go to KP for being ahead in the race for achieving #10BillionTreeTsunami target,” the prime minister tweeted. In another tweet on Sunday, Prime Minister said that his government’s priority was to uplift those people who had been neglected by the state so far.
He said this on Twitter while sharing an image of a scavenger boy riding a trash-loaded bicycle with a national flag affixed on it having a caption that the patriots never think what the country gave them. “Insha Allah these are the Pakistanis who are my priority & whom our state has neglected so far,” the prime minister tweeted.
