New airport opens in west China

XI’AN: A new airport opened for operation Friday in northwest China’s Shaanxi Province.
The CZ5269 flight departing from south China’s Guangzhou City early Friday landed at the new Airport, which is located in the city of Ankang, to mark the inauguration of the airport. Medium-sized aircraft types such as the Boeing 737, Airbus 320, and the home-grown C919 will be able to take off and land here, said a manager at the airport. – Agencies
