– Murder weapon recovered
ISLAMABAD: Homicide Unit of Shalimar Circle Police has traced a murder and arrested a person allegedly involved in it.
DIG Operations Islamabad Waqar-ud-Din Syed ordered to trace murder of Muhammad Shokat committed on September 27, 2020 over a monetary dispute in area of PS Ramana. Thus, in the light of DIG Operations’ orders, SP Saddar Sarfraz Ahmed Virk constituted special team under the supervision of ASP Rana Abdul Wahab including Homicide Unitâ€™s Sub-Inspector Asif Khan and others from Homicide Unit. This team collected the evidences about the incident and managed to arrest an accused Muhammad Naseem Wali s/o Wali-Ur-Rehman resident of Bala kot district Manshra and recovered 30 bore pistol used as murder tool. Further investigation is underway from the nabbed accused.

23 busted during raid at Sheesha Center
ISLAMABAD: PS Lohi Bher on Tuesday raided a Sheesha Center situated at Bahria town and nabbed 23 persons.
Acording to details, following the information, SP Rural Farooq Amjad Butter constituted a special team headed by DSP Rural Rukhsar Medhi, PS Loi Bher’s SHO SI Shahid Zaman and SI Zafaer Iqbal along with others.
Police team raided at Sheesh Centerâ€™ in Bahria town phase 4 and nabbed 23 persons The nabbed accused were identified as Muhammad Bilal, Muhammad Tahir, Muhammad Noman, Hamza, Noman, Zain, Abdullah, Ahmed Azam, Muhammad Abdullah, Munaib Ahmed, Faisal Usman, Hamza Akber, Zain, Hamza Younas, Muhammad Zareen, Waleed, Rizwan, Muhammad Hamza, Shahzaib, Azeem Ahmed, Junaid, Asad and Kahwer, while cops’ team recovered Huqqas and other smoking items from the accused.
DIG Operations Waqar-ud-Din Syed has appreciated the overall performance and directed all police officials for high vigilance and monitoring against those involved in anti-social activities. He directed police officials to conduct surprise checking in their respective areas to eradicate sheesha smoking. He said that Islamabad police would not allow smoking or sheesha smoking at any public place in the city and the violators would be dealt with an iron hand.
