Kyrgyzstan virus recoveries reach 5,000

Bishkek: In Kyrgyzstan, 109 people with previously confirmed diagnosis of COVID-19 recovered in the past day, Head of the Public Health Department of the Health Ministry Ainura Akmatova said a news briefing.
A total of 3,569 people have been discharged from hospitals after recovery.
In addition, Akmatova reported that 1,426 people who were self-isolated have also cured of coronavirus.
Thus, nationwide recoveries from novel coronavirus have climbed to 4,995.
Kyrgyzstan added 421 new confirmed COVID-19 cases on Tuesday, taking its total to 11,538.
Meanwhile, two new virus-related deaths have been registered in the country over the past day, raising the death toll to 149.
At a news briefing at the Government House, Head of the Public Health Department of the Kyrgyz Health Ministry Ainura Akmatova said the republic has started conducting research for antibodies to COVID-19.
“At the end of May, we reported that conducting enzyme immunoassay studies has begun. These research were started in private laboratories after receiving all necessary permits. Thus we will be able to obtain all information about COVID-19 coronavirus infection in the human body,” she said. “Based on these studies, we will be able to find out whether a person is sick or had already got coronavirus and whether he has antibodies,” Akmatova said. –Agenices
