KP’s 1st COVID-19 hospital gets in action

PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has established the first ever specialised hospital for Covid-19 patients in Nishtarabad area of Peshawar, where all facilities, including testing services, will be provided to the general public.
The hospital can accommodate 58 patients at a time and has 40 isolation, 15 high dependence unit and 5 intensive care beds. Treatment at the facility will be free of charge. Dr Abdul Qadir, who was in charge of the hospital, says that the patients would be provided free of cost food and medicine too.
