Koral Police initiate crackdown against crooks

ISLAMABAD: Islamabad Koral police team arrested two accused in different cases of drug peddling and theft and recovered one stolen Honda 125 bike, Rs.1,00,000 cash and 1070 gram hashish from their possession.
IGP Islamabad Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan had categorically ordered all zonal officers to curb the crime in their respective areas and arrest those involved in looting innocent people. Following these directives, a Koral police team arrested an accused involved in bike theft and recovered one Honda 125 bike and Rs.1,00,000 cash from his possession. The accused was identified as Zahid Ullah S/o Arif Khan. Case no. 561/22 under section 380/457/411 PPC has been registered against the accused in Koral police station.
Similarly, an accused namely Muhammad Ali S/o Muhammad Arshad was arrested during snap checking in the jurisdiction of Koral police station and recovered 1070 gram hashish from his possession. Case no. 1146/22 under section CNSA- 9C is registered against the accused. Further investigation is underway.
IGP Islamabad Muhammad Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan have appreciated the police team performance and further directed all zonal officers to intensify the crackdown against the criminals. “The officers with good performance will be rewarded while the officers showing laxity towards their official duties will be dealt with iron hands”, he maintained.
