SRINAGAR: Indian troops in their fresh act of state terrorism in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK) martyred a Kashmiri youth in Srinagar on Monday.
According to Kashmir Media Service, young Kashmiri Manzoor Ahmad was martyred when his bike was deliberately hit by a Central Reserve Police Force vehicle at the Baghat Chowk.
Meanwhile, people staged a protest and clashed with the Indian army’s personnel after they used brute force on them.
Meanwhile, National Conference (NC) Vice President, Omar Abdullah, has said that the situation in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir is far from normal.
According to Kashmir Media Service, talking to reporters on the sidelines of the function at the party office in Srinagar, Omar Abdullah said that the Narendra Modi-led Indian government was misleading the people about the situation in the territory.
“We are pained to see the targeting attacks in Kashmir. Whenever statements about the improvement in the situation are being issued, we are witnessing the targeted attacks.
Both civilians as well as police personnel are becoming the victims. The government should speak the truth about the situation in Kashmir,” he said.
“Sometimes police are targeted, sometimes civilians. The situation is not normal, while the government trying to mislead the people,” he said. –Agencies
