Four caught, drugs & arms recovered

ISLAMABAD: Capital Cops caught four outlaws during a crackdown in different parts of capital and recovered narcotics and weapons from their possession.
IGP Islamabad Muhammad Ahsan Younas had categorically directed all police officers to accelerate their efforts to curb crime in the city.
Following his directions a team of Police Station Golra, led by SI Mansab Dar was conducting special checking when the cops spotted a suspect and stopped him for checking. He said police found 1020 grams of Charas from possession of the man identied as Ansar Ali, hails from Sargodha. The drug peddler was arrested on spot. In yet another action, he said police held a person namely Shahroz and seized 30 bore pistol along with 10 bullets from his possession.
On the other hand, officials of Police Station Banigala, following directions of SP City Zone rounded up a narcotics peddler namely Mujeeb Ullah and recovered 1190 grams of Charas from his possession. Similarly, Koral police apprehended Taimoor and recovered 30 bore pistol, 3 magazines and 15 bullets from him. Police have registered separate cases against the detained accused while further investigation was on, he said.
