Five caught, snatched valuables recovered

ISLAMABAD: Crime Investigation Agency (CIA) of Islamabad Police have arrested five accused involved in snatching and theft incidents, a police spokesman said.
According to the details, Police team comprising Assistant Sub-Inspector Muhammad Ishaq and officials under the supervision of DSP CIA Rukhsar Mehdi has apprehended two accused of a snatchers’ gang involved in snatching in different areas of the city and recovered mobile phone, cash, valuable, vehicle, motorbike and weapons used in crime.
Cases have been registered against the nabbed persons and further investigation is underway from them. The nabbed accused are identified as Shahzaib Khan, Aamir Khan. This gang has confessed it’s involvement in numerous cases of snatching in Tarnol and Industrial Areas police stations. The police team has also arrested three accused identified as Namat Ullah, Mir Salam and Abdul Rehman involved in theft cases and recovered stolen valuables from their possession. DIG Operations has appreciated this performance of CIA police team and directed all police officials to ensure arrest of criminals at large and take effective policing measures in the city.
