FAISALABAD: Irfan Ahmed, Additional Director General Material Management, Faisalabad Electric Supply Company (FESCO), has retired after completing his tenure. A farewell ceremony was held in his honor at FESCO Headquarters (HQ) here today.
Speaking on the occasion, Chief Guest Chief Executive Officer (CEO) FESCO Engineer Bashir Ahmed paid rich tributes to the services of retired Additional Director General Material Management Irfan Ahmed during his tenure FESCO. Highlighting his personality and work, CEO said that he was highly skilled in his work and was a valuable asset of FESCO due to his dedication and professionalism. He said that honorable retirement after completing term of service is no less than a gift from God. The Chief Executive commended the professional life of retired Additional Director General Material Management FESCO Irfan Ahmed.
He further added that during the course of his career, he performed all the duties assigned to him efficiently and achieved the set targets. The Chief Executive further said that Mr. Irfan Ahmed, has spent his whole period with utmost honesty, diligence and timely decisions without any pressure.
On the occasion, Chief Engineer (Operations) Ghulam Farooq, Chief Financial Officer Muhammad Nazir, Chief Engineer Development Umar Hayat, Chief Engineer O&M (T&G) Shabbir Ahmed, Director General (HR & Admin) Nasur Hayat Mekan and other officers congratulated Mr. Irfan Ahmed on completing his tenure in a dignified manner. They said that during his service Additional DG (MM) always had a very gentle attitude towards his employees and customers and always did his best to keep the environment pleasant. All the officers expressed best wishes for his future life and said that the doors of their heart and department are always open for him.
Retired Additional DG (MM) Irfan Ahmed thanked all the officers for organizing a farewell party in his honor and said that he had the support of everyone throughout his services and all the successes are the result of teamwork. He said that during his whole service he always took all possible steps for the welfare of employees and customers.
At the end of the ceremony, Chief Executive FESCO Engineer Bashir Ahmed and other officers presented a commemorative shield, gifts and checks from FESCO to Mr. Irfan Ahmed.
