Facilities at Parliament Lodges discussed

ISLAMABAD: Sub-Committee of Senate House Committee which met with Senator Falak Naz in chair at Parliament House on Wednesday, expressed concerns over lack of facilities at Parliament lodges. The meeting held discussion with regards to the issues and Deficiencies in the Parliament lodges.
The Convener Committee while describing the deteriorating condition of the Lodges divulged a list of issues faced by the Parliamentarians residing in the Lodges, including polluted water, broken windows of corridors, broken electricity boards, deteriorated lift condition, poor quality of food in cafeteria, unhygienic toilet conditions, leakage of water and many other as well.
The CDA officials assured the Committee to solve the problems at the earliest and also described shortage of funds to carry out maintenance works.
