Cops ensuring safe distance of customers outside shops

ISLAMABAD: Capital Cops are busy in ensuring safe distancing outside shops at various markets of the Caital eversince ICT Administration recently issued SOPs for all shops and outlets including grocery, food items and medical stores, during the lockdown, to contain outbreak.
According to details, most recently, DC Islamabad Muhammad Hamza Shafqaat, issued SOPs to provide framework for shops in Islamabad during the COVID-19 outbreak to reduce the spread of infection. Necessary changes would be made for the smooth functioning to adopt the procedures without major diversion. “All shops of grocery/food items/medical stores in the capital city of Islamabad are here by directed to adopt following necessary measures,†he said.
The SOPs include availability of masks and sanitizers and social distancing to be practiced by every shop keeper. Every open shop will ensure presence of masks for staff and sanitizers for stall and clients. Shopkeeper (Staffs) will keep distance of 6 feet between them. All clients will keep distance of two feet from the counter.
