Colourful summer camp of Capital Cops kicks off

ISLAMABAD: Capital Cops started summer school camp 2021 at the police lines headquarters. Inspector General Police Islamabad, Qazi Jamil-ur-Rehman was the chief guest at a ceremony held at the police lines headquarters. Speaking on the occasion, he appreciated the initiative, saying it would enhance public trust in police. DIG Headquarters Kamran Adil, AIG Establishment Dr. Naveed Atif, SSP Headquarters Muhammad Umar Khan, and other senior officials were also present on the occasion. The parents of the students enrolled in the summer camp were also present in the ceremony.

IGP Qazi Jamil ur Rehman addressing the participants of the ceremony said that children are the future of any nation. He said that everyone must strive for the physical and mental growth of children. He was satisfied that this year something new like ‘self-protection’ and ‘child protection’ has been added in the syllabus. He said that the management of the school was organizing the summer camp with devotion and dedication.

He said that the summer school was launched in 2002, aiming at friendly policing and also sought suggestions from the public to improve efficiency and utility of the camp. The IG assured the parents that the children would be provided the best possible environment at the summer camp. He also cut the cake along with the children to inaugurate the camp.
