–Stolen vehicle & weapon recovered

ISLAMABAD: PS Shalimar team has arrested a former jailbird car lifter involved in numerous vehicle lifting activities and recovered a stolen vehicle, weapon with ammunition and vehicle used in crime from his possession.

Following the special directions of Islamabad Capital City Police Officer (ICCPO) Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan, the Islamabad Capital Police has intensified crackdown against the criminal elements involved in bike and car lifting incidents in order to eliminate the crime from the city.

According to the details, PS Shalimar team used technical and human resources and succeeded in apprehending a wanted member of a former jailbird car lifter gang involved in numerous car lifting incidents.

The accused was identified as Bilal Iqbal. Police team also recovered a stolen vehicle, weapon with ammunition and vehicle used in crime from his possession. Cases were already registered against the nabbed accused and further investigation is underway.
