Bishkek reports 410 new virus cases

Bishkek: In Kyrgyzstan, total number of COVID-19 coronavirus infection and community-acquired pneumonia cases has reached 37,129 after the republic confirmed Monday 410 new ones.
Head of the Public Health Department of the Kyrgyz Health Ministry Ainura Akmatova said of these, 96 are laboratory-confirmed cases and 314 are cases of clinically confirmed COVID-19.
As of Aug. 3, another 20 Kyrgyz medical workers contracted COVID-19, thus a total number of coronavirus cases among medics has climbed to 2,829, including 1,853 recoveries.
Number of Kyrgyzstanis cured has reached 27,927 after 653 cases of recovery were registered Monday, among them the oldest patient – 101-year-old man, and 80-year-old pensioner.
The representative of the republic’s Health Ministry also reported 11 new virus-related fatalities. Now Kyrgyzstan’s death toll stands at 1,420.– Agencies
