RAWALPINDI: Heavy rain lashed coastal areas of the Balochistan province. According to the details issued by Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Pakistan Army troops helped the city administration to hold the rescue operations in the province.

As per the ISPR reports, heavy rains on Monday and Tuesday caused urban flooding in low-lying areas of Gwadar and Turbat.

Army troops immediately assisted the civil administration in rescue and relief efforts including dewatering of various areas and shifting people stranded in water through boats.

The ISPR statement further stated that food and shelter were provided in the areas including Coastal Highway, Pasni, Surbandar, Nigore, and Jiwani. -ISPR
