Academic fraternity urged to maintain educational standard

ISLAMABAD: President International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI) Prof. Dr Ahmed Yousif Al-Draiweesh Thursday called upon the academic fraternity to play role in maintaining educational standard during global pandemic.
He was addressing via video link to a meeting with Vice Presidents and Deans. It was also attended by Acting Vice president Prof. Dr. Aqdas Naveed Malik, Vice-President Academics Dr. Muhammad Tahir Khalily, Vice-President Female Campus, Dr. Farkhanda Zia, Deans, Director Academics, Director Examination and other relevant officials.
Dr. Al-Draiweesh said IIUI’s response to continue academic process amid pandemic was commendable. He stressed upon faculties to promote research that must be relevant to societal needs. Talking on the online admission process, he said attribute of quality must not be compromised.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Aqdas Naveed Malik reiterated his resolve that university will keep working hard to adopt better druthers of learning in the wake of recent circumstances.
