-12 bikes impounded, 18 suspects rounded up

ISLAMABAD: Capital Cops along with other law enforcement agencies conducted search operation in the jurisdiction of PS Tarnol, here this Friday. According to details, during the search operation 165 people were inspected through screening of five hotels and 35 shops. Twelve motorbikes without documents and 18 suspects were rounded up and shifted to police station for interrogation.
DIG Operations Waqar-ud-Din Syed has said that the purpose of the search operation was to heightened the security of the Capital and to curb the crime. He further directed all police officials for high vigilance and monitoring against those involved in anti-social activities. The DIG further emphasized that it was the collective responsibility of every person of the society to remain alert against those involved in criminal activities in their surroundings and inform police for action against the accused. “Safety of life and property of the citizens is our prime responsibility and no stone would be unturned in this regard”, the DIG added.
