27 outlaws including wanted members of street gang held

ISLAMABAD: Capital Cops arrested 27 outlaws including a wanted members of street criminal gang held and recovered snatched motorbikes, mobile phone, narcotic, wine and weapons from their possession.
According to details, IGP Islamabad Muhammad Aamir Zulfiqar Khan ordered crackdown against criminal elements. Following these orders, DIG (Operations) Waqar-Ud-Din Syed has directed all zonal officers to accelerate their efforts to curb the crime in the city.
Following these directions, SP Saddar Sarfraz Ahmed Virk constituted special team under supervision of DSP Abid Akram including SHO Karachi Company Sub-Inspector Saleem Raza, along with other officials who successfully arrested three members of criminal’s gang involved in snatching mobile phones and other valuables at gun point from the citizens. The gangsters have been identified as Yasu Masih, Khazal and Abu Baker Naeem while police recovered two motorbike , mobile phone and and weapons from their possession. During the preliminary investigation, it came to know that they had criminal record and also remained jail birds. Cases have been registered against them and further investigation is underway from them. While police team also arrested 03 drug pusher namely Raheel Masih, Shahbaz and Imran and recovered 30 liters alcohol and 140 gram hashish from their possession.
Further-More Koral police arrested two accused Irfan and Ata-Ur-Rehman and recovered stolen valuables from their possession. Shams colony police arrested accused Ruqeeb and recovered stolen valuable from him. Ramana police arrested accused Ghulam Jallani and recovered 160 gram hashish from him.
Kohsar police arrested two accused Asher Masih and Javed Masih and recovered 305 gram hashish from their possession. Golra police arrested accused Wajhat and recovered 260gram hashish from him. While police team also arrested 10 accused including six lady accused involved in immoral activities while police also recovered 1130 grams hashish from the arrested accused Arif .
Cases have been registered against these nabbed persons and further investigation is underway from them. During special checking in the whole city, police nabbed four proclaimed offenders.
DIG Operations Waqar-ud-Din Syed has appreciated this performance and directed all Station House Officers for effective crackdown against that involvement in drug peddling activities. He asked for renewed efforts to curb such practices and get rid of society from such menace. He said that performance in this regard would be reviewed on continuous basis.
The DIG also categorically asked all police officials to focus on resolving the public complaints and take every possible step to provide maximum relief to citizens.
