10 including 6 booked for involvement in immoral activities

ISLAMABAD: Capital Cops, in a bid to tighten noose around anti-social elements, booked 10 outlaws including six for their alleged involvement in immoral activities, while recovering narcotics, wine and weapons from their possession.
According to details, in compliance to the directives of IGP Islamabad Muhammad Aamir Zulfqar Khan and DIG Operations Waqar-ud-Din Syed, all officials of Capital Cops have accelerated their efforts to curb activities of anti-social elements and drug pushers.
Thus, strict policing measures are being ensured in the city against such criminals. On a tip off, Loi Bher police team headed by its SHO Shahid Zaman raided at flat number 305 Bharia Town phase III after getting search warrant. Police arrested six persons including three women involved in immoral activities who were identified as Kamran Mehmood, Qasir Abbas, Ayub, Naghma Shaeen, Nazima and Sadaf. Four wine bottles and 20 cans of beer were also recovered from their possession. Case has been registered against them and further investigation is underway from them. Furthermore, PS Aabpara arrested accused Akmal and recovered 137 gram hashish from him.

Koral police arrested a drug pusher namely Haider Khan and recovered 1600 gram hashish from him. Noon police arrested accused Faisal and recovered one 30 bore pistol from him. Cases have been registered against these nabbed persons and further investigation is underway from them. DIG Operations Waqar-ud-Din Syed has appreciated this performance and directed all Station House Officers for effective crackdown against that involvement in drug peddling activities. He asked for renewed efforts to curb such practices and get rid of society from such menace. He said that performance in this regard would be reviewed on continuous basis.
The DIG also categorically asked all police officials to focus on resolving the public complaints and take every possible step to provide maximum relief to citizens.
